3.30.12

On the last Friday of the month, Glenn had a safe but fun time talking about the new 'World Tax', some fun. The 'Gambler' is mythed by the Denver Airport, Double D wants to start an old commercial contest, and 'East Main' has another dumb request. Then 'Middle Class' returns for an incredible outburst towards the end of today's show.

Glenn had Tom Wilson in today for the first part of today's show, to promote a local play titled, 'A Soldier's Story'. This compelling story depicts the crucification of Jesus through the eyes of a Roman soldier. Then, a surprise call came from a concerned father who spoke of an incident at the local middle school, he feels is being ignored.

Because it's a Monday, there's usually a lot to talk about. Some NCAA talk, a local fire, and yes the a conversation about wearing a 'hoodie'. Good calls throughout making today a quick show.

When city residents need to watch their neighbor's pet attack their dogs, and themselves, it sounds like the number 1 story, right? Well, to the paper it was, but as Mayor Graham observed, our local 'power-house' TV station decided if they weren't there first, why report it now. Wow! That's what our so-called host exclaimed as he made his own personal observations from start to finish today.

Financial hour with Brian Exford went well today. It first began with some sports talk, and then evolved into a good conversation about the importance of planning your future. No, not like an info-mercial, instead some 'frank' talk about taking the time to put money away. Of course, other 'stuff' too, in between all this.

Glenn had a solo show today, covering everything from this to that, and a great conversation at the end with our Movie expert about the Three Stooges.

Play Ball! That was today's theme, as Glenn had Pharmacy Friend Jeff Kirkby and Paul Simmons in to talk about an expanded 'Babe Ruth' league and 'Youth' league. Great efforts are being made by both men and volunteers to meet the demand for youth baseball.

What better way to cover the week, than to do it on a Friday show. More about Green Light-Gate, and plenty of calls throughout the show. Have a great St. Patrick's Day Weekend.

How can you do a radio show when SU is playing. Glenn had fun with getting calls from those near a TV, and also had a fun chat with you know who again. It was tense, but eventually Duff called the win live. Then it was smooth sailing to the end with the usual stuff.

Wednesdays were created as a bridge to the rest of the work week, and the weekend. So, Glenn had fun today, as if it was already Friday. Good stuff about the state of the SU Orange, some fun with 'East Main' and some serious thoughts about a local trial. Then, even more fun with the Green Lights issue at the end of the show.

When you lose a GPS, you check the local Trade-In store for it. Sure enough, wait, the story isn't over yet. Good show, as Glenn covered his situation with a theft from his vehicle, then he had Kari and Jim stop by to finish the show off.

Glenn shared his latest ailment today as he discussed his new therapy he's doing for his shoulders, plus Glenn got some good advice on how to kick 'acid reflux'. Plus, a look at the Orange and the Knicks on today's show.
