For the last show of the year, let's talk with Brendon about his tennis career, then let's talk about the impact of new technologies to our radio lifestyles, then let's talk about how radio was changed by the Wall Street mentality, and then call it a day! Happy New Year!

What's up with New Yorkers? Come on you're the 'tough guys' it's just snow on your own street, get outside and take care of it you maniacs! Glenn included the latest 'rage' story with some rage of his own, asking, are we getting angrier, are we reading too much negative press from the MSM? You decide! Good show.

Glenn's wife is feeling some 'discomfort', so Glenn received some free advice from Dan Francis and the Duff. After that it was business as usual, then Jim Leven came in, and, all of a sudden it was all about ex-President Richard Nixon, and the state of politics in Washington. Oh, some angry callers too.

Glenn began Thanksgiving week with a look back at this day 47 years ago. So, what started as a look back, turned into a current-day argument about Kennedy's assassination. Things carried on to the latest TSA 'groping sessions' and then Jim Leven made an appearance. Also, Kari's nieces stopped by! Good Show!

Glenn had the honor of having Congressional candidate, Mr. Matt Doheny in the studio today. Matt made the promise months ago, and backed up his word. Many callers within the 25 minutes Matt was here, and, like Glenn said, it's great to hear a candidate as opposed to :30 second sound bites and political advertisements.

Glenn is solo today, and that sometimes works itself into a 'why do you do it the way you do it Glenn' show. Callers chiming in with their complaints, from 'Dancing with the Stars' discussions, to famous home runs. Glenn took it in stride, and took the low road with some social issues.

It's a classic-style 'live' show today. That is, nothing but Glenn, his offbeat remarks and his loyal callers. Some of this, some of that, including Glenn's top 100 Movies you don't see on TV anymore. Oh, some thoughts about 'Crazy Carl' and the 'teaparty' folks.

It's a victory for Matt Doheney! So, now it's time to look forward to the general lection. Glenn was elated today when Matt called in at the middle of today's program. With Legislator Bobby Ferris in the studio, Glenn had the opportunity to ask Matt about the next 48 days of campaigning in the 23rd district.

Nice show, Glenn shared some thoughts about a new Fred Exley biographer. Joe Brosk had some pointers for Glenn's interview next week with Chuck Ruggiero. Then they covered the current cookie cutter campaigns we've been seeing locally. Finally, Glenn had some insight on some bad national tv commercials.

Glenn was a bit off with his wording at the beginning of today's show, but he had plenty to say with Attorney Joe Stanley and Jim Leven today. The show was highlighted with Glenn's conversation with Dick Whelan who was at the Bobby Thompson game in 1951. This was in honor of the passing of Thompson today who died at age 86.

The first show for August, and somehow Glenn pulled it off. It started with a boring intro as Glenn tried to make it interesting while the engineers tried to fix the studio for the first 6 minutes. Then after reading an article about baseball manager, Ozzie Guillen, and Ozzie's observation about 'latino' players, Glenn flew off the runway with one compelling call after another.

Earlier, Glenn had a great conversation with his niece Tara, who is traveling down from Montreal with her father for the weekend!

Glenn had the opportunity to speak about 3 things today. One Bill Bobreight, the Blogger guy who got the Gov't agency lady fired, the mosque at Ground Zero, and Andrew Cuomo for Governor. From there, it was a great discussion about the imminent loss of our movie theaters, due to the new construction of new theaters for 9 months!

Is Alex Bay slipping into the river? Seems like the local government is pushing the envelope when it comes to enforcing the law. Of course, underage drinking is wrong, but establishing a new agenda in a town known for its party atmosphere isn't the answer. JC from A. Bay chimed in to discuss the matter, others followed.

After covering some of the local/regional stuff, Glenn received an interesting call from a couple of 20 something year olds about their current status as college students, campus DJs and musicians. Then, during the show's second half, it was business as usual. The Gulf, Obama and who's gonna be president next time?

Glenn started things off with some 'movie talk' because he saw 'The Road' with Viggo Mortensen. Then, it was the battle between the parties, the 'libs vs. the 'conservatives'. Glenn asked, are we looking for bad news so we feel good about our side of the political scheme? Anyway, Bob Ferris stopped by to talk about his daughter's appearance in this week's Miss NY State Beauty Contest.

Glenn got caught with an illegal act today, speeding. This just moments before the show started. Humbled? Yes, he was let go, but Glenn apologized. Duff called twice, about BP and about the city woman who held a 9 year old for a ring and run stunt. Several callers at the end for this alone.
