   The several day process of dumping Senator Dean Skelos as Majority Leader is underway. GOP lawmakers are deserting their leader, although most are doing it without saying anything.

   No profiles in courage in the caucus.

   And let's not have the obligatory Long Island Senator.  Put the lady from Olean in there. Then there won't be three men in a room anymore.

   Mary Rain has a cloud over her and the forecast doesn't include clear skies. The embattled GOP prosecutor billed as the slayer of Nicole Duve was in a spat in a rape trial this week as wily old defense attorney Emil Rossi accused her of prosecutorial misconduct.....Given all the other things swirling around the DA this got coverage.

    From the coverage I've read of this trial there is something that doesn't feel right, especially the part about the victims boyfriend being in the next room....
