While Glenn was very critical of the way the NY Mets act in their dugout, it didn't help to see A Rod act like the 'bush-leaguer' he really is in last night's game in Toronto. After that was discussed, Samantha gave us her reasons why she should get her children back. Things moved along well enough, then it was traffic laws, 4-way stop signs and speedometer signs that tell you how fast you're going. Glenn thinks every school district in the country should have one, but not enough tickets would be issued to generate municipal revenue.

Back from a long weekend, but that's ok, Glenn is back in his saddle again. Both 'Duff' brothers called in today, plus George offered this question, why is the river cooler than the lake? No one knew, but some speculated anyway. Good show back from the holiday, and we're going to continued to do so all week long!

It's a Friday show before the big weekend. So, Glenn has 2 cats at his house this weekend, but couldn't understand why the cats had nothing to do with each other during the daytime, but meowed all night long! Aside for that, Crazy Ray is still nuts and Glenn announced that he will be part of a big boxing event in July at the Fairgrounds. Have a great Memorial Day Weekend, see you on Tuesday!

Addie Jenne's Re-Election Speech

Positioned symbolically before a bank of solar panels, Addie Jenne announced her bid for re-election in District #4 of the Jeff Co Legislature.

Her serious and thoughtful speech was witnessed by many relatives, friends and supporters. Ms. Jenne knows a lot more sunlight is needed to brighten the dark corners of our secretive, clubby current legislature.

Hey now! We gave away our mattress set to Satan today, ain't that grand! Glenn had to go to a video event, but stay tuned tomorrow for the end of the week show!

Well now, what's a show without some opening stories? Glenns' stories about his gas station nozzle experience and his cat's new and very large name tag just weren't as funny as Glenn predicted. Yet, a lovely caller chimed in and thought leaving a gas nozzle in your gas valve shows that some people struggle with the simple stuff more than she does. Crazy Ray thinks the government has a 'grand plan' in Iraq and tomorrow, we give away a mattress set! Word of the day today? Gangs. Why? Because of the recent article about 'gang' activity at Watertown High School.

Well, when the boss can't come in to the studio, he'll just call from his own office...20 feet away from the studio! Yes, after the same banter we're all accustomed to, it was a political show during the show's second half. This is when Glenn and Jim Leven discussed in detail the real problems with the mid-east conflict. Of course, as expected our neighborhood conservative, 'George' had some choice words of his own for our liberal in charge. Good show, oh the word of the day, it's been said in this post alread...Conservative. Please note, on tomorrow's blog, we'll have all the words of the day!

What?! A spot has the client's wrong name in it? Yes, and Glenn finds out just at the beginning to today's show. Putting him into a tailspin at the outset but none-the-less a good Monday show. Traffic was a mess when a utility pole is cut in pieces. In fact, today's word is 'Splinters'. Crazy Ray, Mike White and a different sounding Crumugeon called today.

Squirrels? On the roof? Making weird movements? This was the concern Sharon had when she called up her 'so-called host' husband today. Of course, Glenn was more interested in discussing his plane trip to Lake Placid today with Jim Leven. Good trip and plenty of digital pics to share, and they're both back in one piece, actually two pieces. Anyway, today's word of the day is 'Irrentainment'. A slang word for someone or something that is painful to appreciate, but is appreciated none-the-less.

Word of the day? Downtown. Why? Why not. Anyway, decent show today, but serious at times simply because of the missing men in Iraq. Our community has been through a lot, but this is truly horrible on those related to the missing Fort Drum soldiers. Oh, Glenn received a call from a concerned 'sometimes' listener about his banter yesterday. Glenn was upset when the woman alleged he was just part of the reason why our youngins' leave the area.

Glenn's headache didn't keep him from doing a Tuesday show today, but at times, it seemed like pulling teeth to get people to call. They did though, and today's show had a little bit of everything. After giving away a prize to a school bus driver Glenn took the show in a serious direction. The latest Iraq incident really hits home in our Fort Drum community, yet Glenn feels we've become disensitized about the war. A caller shared some of his own thoughts as well as the best way to rid yourself of a migrane. See you tomorrow!

Wow, a big-time character bit the big one last night on the Sopranos and Glenn had a lot to say about that! Of course, aside for the 'Extrovert' there just werent' too many listeners who knew anything about the show. That's ok though, you see Glenn did the show solo today and had a good time doing it. Say, today's secret word was 'Christopher'.

You know what they say, it's a 'Dogs World' indeed. Glenn actually took in a ticket winner off the street to sit in as his co-host today. Mr. Todd Cummings, the local Dog Warden came in today to chat about his 24 year career as our local animal authority. Good stuff, including some play on dog shows and movies that Glenn thought were Todd's favorite. Have a great weekend!

Here's Wednesdays' show that never quite made it to the blog! So, for today, it's a two for Thursday!

5.10.7

It's another day in the neighborhood, and yes today had some time of his own for a while, then shared some with Jim Leven. It was at this time, Glenn became very confused with some of the subject matter discussed, but managed to slip in some of his own words between the senseless banter. See you tomorrow!

Well now, first it was both Bruce & Jim in the studio with Glenn, covering various world topics like muslims in France and Imus. Then it was all Glenn, that is ALL GLENN! You see, it wasn't until Cindy Miller came in to tell Glenn the phones weren't working, explaining why Glenn wasn't able to even give away a gift certificate. Oh well, today's word of the day was Napolean.

PLEASE NOTE: THE BAD AUDIO YOU'VE BEEN HEARING HAS BEEN FIXED! PLEASE LISTEN TO LAST WEEK'S SHOWS (WED, Thur & Fri). THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN FIXED!

Words of the day to date: Todays word was Gazeebo, Friday's show was Savanah.

Today's show covered the crazy front page article in the Times that Glenn just couldn't figure out. That's ok too, because no one even called to even explain the graphic to Glenn. Good calls today, including the 'lovely' Sharon who gave Glenn the opportunity to say 'Nappy' like Imus does. Good Sapranos chatter, and a local business is booming in the industrial park!

5.4.7

The tired, yet eager to get callers Glenn Curry had an off-beat program today. Somehow, the topic of 'male prostitution' came up and seemed to come back several times. All in all though good conversations with Dan the Dem, the Sackets Harbor lady and Holly who actually knows (2) male prostitutes right here in Watertown. Oh! Today's first word of the day for the mattress set is 'Savanah'

5.2.7

Late post, but not too late to enjoy! Good stuff with Glenn and the 'liberal Leven' but plenty to laugh at. Hopefully, we'll get the mp3 feature back soon!

5.1.7

What's in a local show anyway? Well, Glenn thinks the no real way to avoid the times we live in. Good thing the 'Live at Five Show' on AM1240 is live and very local! Good conversations throughout today's show!

5.3.7

Shorter show than normal today folks, why? Simple, don't know why, the computer just crapped out. However, we managed to salvage 38 minutes from today's show, which includes the same SOLO drama you'd expect from our 'so-called' host.
