The biggest issue to hit our area was the focus of attention today. No, not another congressional race, it's all to do about 'Wind Power'. Glenn had (3) individuals on the show today to discuss the downside of wind farm developments on the Golden Crescent Communities. Rob Aliasso, John Byrne and Brooks Bragdon were his guests. Good show, and more to come!

MP3 File

Tuesday, December 29, 2009

Good show, first the call with Attorney Joe Stanley went well. Then it was the Glenn we all know. A bit of this, some of that, and an explanation about the 360 theory and Jim Leven.

MP3 File

Monday, December 28, 2009

What's up with Glenn today? Seems like someone lit a firecracker under him. First, he's excited about anti-windmill guests coming in on his show in the near future, plus he HAD to talk to his listeners about his convenience store incident this past weekend. Good way to start off the last week of the year.

MP3 File

Wednesday, December 23, 2009

For the last show of the week, Glenn had a good time covering the year in review. Plus, some great calls too, one from Crazy Ray who brought up a practical joke story that got him in a little trouble. Merry Christmas!

MP3 File

Monday, December 21, 2009

Glenn talked about a traffic incident that happened to his friend and offered the story as part of today's show. This rallied some callers throughout, then at the very end of the show, Jim Leven shared his view.

MP3 File

Thursday, December 17, 2009

Well, is Glenn in 'Rage' mode today? Sure seemed like it. In fact, he was angry at his boss for being 'irrational' this afternoon, then Jim called to say hi as if nothing was wrong at all. Strange, but true, good show, the old Glenn came out to play today and boy was it fun!

MP3 File

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

Another good legal hour today with Attorney Eric Swartz.

MP3 File

Tuesday, December 15, 2009

For the first time, Glenn had Rabbi Yakov Roth in the studio today. In addition, he had Attorney Joe Stanley call in during today's show too. Rabbi Roth was in to talk about the Hannakah Season, as well as his own local chapter of the Jewish Heritage Society. Good show, very informative and well liked by those who chimed in.

MP3 File

Monday, December 14, 2009

Well, he went in somewhat in a daze, although you may not notice it at first, and wouldn't you know it, the show came out fine. The best part is when Glenn is debating on what to do with their summer place in the winter. Oh, good assessment of the difference between a Tiger cocktail waittress and Spitzer's prostitute.

MP3 File

Good Friday show, Glenn is on his way to the company Christmas Party. Have a great weekend!

MP3 File

Thursday, December 10, 2009

After a successful day of auctioning off merchandice, Glenn brought normal programming to WATN. Good show, a little bit odd with Jim and Bruce in the studio, but when that ended it was Glenn till the end. Lost yesterday's show, see you all tomorrow.

MP3 File

Tuesday, December 8, 2009

This show was originally aired Monday, November 23rd. Just didn't get it on the Blog until now.

MP3 File

Good show, the go go girls were in, plus Attorney Joe Stanley. Gotta go!

MP3 File

Monday, December 7, 2009

Does Watertown have big city problems? Yes, but we've known that for some time now. After Saturday night's murder, Glenn fielded callers who gave their opinion of the incident. Glenn also spoke more about the Tiger Woods problem.

MP3 File

Friday, December 4, 2009

Good show, although Glenn was paranoid about no callers in the beginning. Anyway, Glenn brought up some good topics about the world of Islam. Plus, more about the incident in Evans Mills.

MP3 File

Thursday, December 3, 2009

Good show, first Glenn spoke about the latest news from the Fort Drum double murder, then posed some legal questions from Attorney Joe Stanley. From there it was 'Glenn' as usual, topped off with a conversation with Dan the Dem who was high above the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony.

MP3 File

Wednesday, December 2, 2009

Good legal hour with Attorney Eric Swartz. Glenn covered the local issues and the national stories throughout today's show. Good call too from pilot Kevin Oliver who reflected on the recent Northwest Airlines debacle. Also, Jim Leven came in to stir things up at the end.

MP3 File

Tuesday, December 1, 2009

After Glenn read the latest breaking news regarding an alleged double murder in Evans Mills, it was the Glenn & Noodles show. No call from Attorney Joe Stanley, but Glenn managed to keep things interesting. Good stuff about parents and videotaping their children.

MP3 File

Monday, November 30, 2009

Glenn had a good time today. First, he spoke about the interview with Dede on national news, then it was pretty much Tiger Woods from that point on. Then it was a discussion about the couple that crashed the White House last week.

MP3 File

Friday, November 20, 2009

It was a bit slow at first today, until 'Dan the Dem' chimed in to talk about health care. From there, things really picked up, but don't think the first part was slow, because it was! Have a great weekend.

MP3 File

Thursday, November 19, 2009

Wizards General Manager, Todd Kirkey stopped by today to be Glenn's co-host again. Of course, he was really here to promote this week's Wine & Food Festival at the fairgrounds. Good listening!

MP3 File

This 'Legal Hour' show with Attorney Eric Swartz was never posted until now. Good stuff from start to finish.

MP3 File

Dr. Guitar 11.9 REV A

After a conversation with Attorney Joe Stanley, the terrorist trial in NYC took center-stage. From this point on, callers either said it was a good idea, or it was an act of war and should be a military trial instead. Anyway, listen and decide for yourself.

MP3 File

Monday, November 16, 2009

How about listening to something 'other' than politics? Well, sit back and relax to Glenn's banter, conversations and music trivia with Jim Leven and 'Oz'.

MP3 File

Friday, November 13, 2009

Glenn spoke with an Australian actor/comedian today, his name is Jim Dailakis. Good chat too, plus Crazy Ray chimed in right after. Then, as part of the final minutes to this week's CMN Telethon, Jim Leven had a guest in with her son. Have a great weekend.

MP3 File

Wednesday, November 11, 2009

Good show, not a legal hour today, but a good Wednesday show none-the-less. Glenn gave away a certificate to Mike, plus he kept the phone calls coming in again and again. See you all tomorrow!

MP3 File

Monday, November 9, 2009

Mr. Martini, let's have some wine! Name the movie. Anyway, Glenn had Watertown Wizzard's GM Todd Kirkey in the studio today to speak about the 3rd Annual Wine & Cheese Event on November 21st & 22nd. Of course, Todd shared all of the information, while Glenn strategically placed his own social comments throughout today's entertaining show.

MP3 File

Friday, November 6, 2009

A friend of the show, came in today to talk about his battle. His battle against cancer. Steve Ballot, a.k.a. the 'Witness Protection Program Guy', stopped by the studio to talk about the last 10 months of living with cancer. Today's show is a compelling story of bravery and concern. In the end, it's up to the patient to determine which road to take when it comes to the latest treatments. Steve hopes today's show might inspire someone else who's fighting cancer right now.

MP3 File

This is Wednesday's show, November 4th. Enjoy, I forgot what it was all about, but please listen when you can. I'm sure you'll like it.

MP3 File

Monday, November 2, 2009

On the eve of our district's biggest election day, Glenn covered his own thoughts during this 11th hour. Listen as Glenn defends his original candidate and why he feels Northern NY is being used as a pawn for national politics. In the end, we're voting for the country not ourselves. Decide for yourself, Let's see what happens when we get a non-politician, absent of the issues that really matter to us, represent us in DC.

MP3 File

Friday, October 30, 2009

Good show, SG was in the house. Glenn ranted about why the political system is a joke. Seems we all know a lot about the 'process' since this 'special election began. Gotta go! Have a great Halloween weekend.

MP3 File

Thursday, October 29, 2009

Glenn had a 'special' edition of the 'Live at Five Show' with all (3) City Council Candidates. Listen to Teresa Macaluso, Jeff Smith and Steve Bradley explain why they're the choice for Watertown City Council.

MP3 File

Wednesday, October 28, 2009

Glenn had a political guest in today, Town of LeRay Judge, John Hallett. John reflected on his current campaign for County Judge and fielded phone calls from listeners. John's approach to the Jefferson County Court chambers, is to bring a different 'temperment' to the day to day court proceedings.

MP3 File

Friday, October 23, 2009

Some more Gongressional talk, a conversation with a horror author and oh yes, Glenn had some good news from Danny Francis about the City Council Video he produced on Good way to end a great week of shows!

MP3 File

Thursday, October 22, 2009

Slow down there boy! That's what people might say when they hear a very lively Glenn Curry today. It seems the congressional campaign is really getting to him. 'Noodles' sat in during the show, then Glenn played a new political ad from a new group dubbed 'The Committee to Call a Spade a Spade'. Bob Ferris stopped by too at the end of the show.

MP3 File

Wednesday, October 21, 2009

What the hell? How many mistakes can one candidate for Congress make? Well, Dee Dee had a press conference in front of her competitors office, and, well, let's say that went over like a 'lead balloon'. Oh, today was our 'Legal Hour' too with Attorney Eric Swartz.

MP3 File

Tuesday, October 20, 2009

It's a race to capital hill, and the 23rd is making national headlines. This, after an 'incident' last night at the Lowville Elks Club, when Dee Dee had a reporter questioned by police. This spurred plenty of calls today, and led to some good banter. Oh, Glenn commented on the Yankee loss too from last night.

MP3 File

Friday, October 16, 2009

What are Fridays for anyway? A day to let your hair down. Of course, there is still room for a local candidate too. After Vanessa and Glenn had their own casual conversation, the show went political when Jefferson County candidate for County Clerk, Gertrude Karris came in to discuss her current campaign. Good conversation for a Friday afternoon.

MP3 File

Thursday, October 15, 2009

We have an invitation. That's an invitation for all (3) congressional candidates to have a public debate, 'live' on the radio. Now, do we believe all the candidates will say yes? Probably not. These days, political races are determined by outside interests and money, money, money. Both Jim Leven and Bruce Mittman made a public invitation to attend a debate in the center of the 23rd district. More news later as they develop.

MP3 File

Tuesday, October 13, 2009

Glenn had a headache today, perhaps you can hear it in his banter. Not many calls, plus East Main is calling too much. Jim Leven actually came in to lighten the show up!

MP3 File

Monday, October 12, 2009

First, Glenn had another 'brush' with the law today, yes another seat-belt infraction. When will Glenn ever learn! Anyway, it was a somewhat mild day today, until Glenn went off on the Congressional race again. Then, after the same people chimed in today, Jim Leven called to add his '2 cents'.

MP3 File

Saturday, October 10, 2009

This is Friday's show, which includes this week's 'I'll stick around Jim Leven' this weekend and go on Glenn's show. Well, he did, and when Dan the Dem called in, it was liberal radio in stereo. Good banter throughout, then legislature hopeful, Bobby Ferris, stopped in to talk about things in general. Oh, by the time this description was posted, the Yankees had already won, and wow, what a win! Tainted, however, that ball was fair. Yet, Yanks came back with Texiera's homerun. Who knows what could have happened after that.

MP3 File

Thursday, October 8, 2009

Well look at this, Glenn had a real-life singer performer in the studio today! Listen to today's very entertaining show with Lowville's own, 'JP Shaggy'. JP shared his stories about his experiences on the road as well as how he got into performing. Plus, he performed too at the very end.

MP3 File

Wednesday, October 7, 2009

Well, no 'Legal Hour' today, so it was business as usual fo our so-called host. Good chat with Attorney Joe Stanley and oh yea, some good callers once again, especially Danny Francis who called in to spell a french word.

MP3 File

Tuesday, October 6, 2009

Well, after Glenn arrived late (no intro musics on today's show) he got right into today's top stories. Then, after Jim Leven chimed in about the latest 'Partiot' act of protection at the local airport, Glenn fielded one call after another to see who agreed with him, and who didn't.

MP3 File

Monday, October 5, 2009

Well, what a day, first Glenn described the car accident he witnessed on the Arsenal St. Bridge. Then it was back to the political discussion. More about the congressional race, then the rest of the show was about the situation in Afghanistan.

MP3 File

Friday, October 2, 2009

Another great show, plus some Friday 'type' surprises. Good stuff regarding the Olympic decision to scrap Chicago, and Glenn's thoughts about David Letterman's latest situation. Oh, more 'chatter' about the current congressional race, that is if there is a current congressional race!

MP3 File

Thursday, October 1, 2009

Where's the congressional debates? Huh, what are we? Chopped Liver? Anyway, after some Red & Black chatter and some trivia questions from East Main, Glenn went right to the question, 'When the hell are the candidates for the 23rd district going to discuss the real issues in front of their potential constituents'? Good show!

MP3 File

Wednesday, September 30, 2009

What a crazy 'Legal Hour' today, first Mike DeFranco came in to give a first hand testimonial to Attorney Eric Swartz, then Gary spoke candidly about some high profile cases, then Kevin Oliver walked in to add to the mix. Some really good stuff today once again!

MP3 File

Tuesday, September 29, 2009

Good show today with Attorney Joe Stanley, and many local callers who chimed in about this and that. Glenn asked if there's a trend in getting angry with others because of political and socially driven issues. More at the end of the show today about the bear shooting in Lowville.

MP3 File

Monday, September 28, 2009

This is just 'unbearable', that is, why would the local DEC decide to shoot and kill a 300 pound black bear, when sedating the animal would have been justified. This local story happened this morning in Lowville, and created quite a stir on today's show.

MP3 File

Friday, September 25, 2009

Good show, yea, Glenn was tired at first, but the callers woke him up. A Friday show worth listening to, once again.

MP3 File

Thursday, September 24, 2009

For a Thursday show, it felt like Friday. No one in the studio, just Glenn and his latest opinion about the Congressional race. Then Vanessa stopped by and the show turned into a quiz show about sitcoms and the cities they took place.

MP3 File

Wednesday, September 23, 2009

Some watching today, Glenn had some issues with the way people divulge their bottom-line. Good chatter about this and the article about 'What Women Want from a Man'. See ya!

MP3 File

Tuesday, September 22, 2009

Well look at this, Glenn is a race fan! Well, he respects racing, but left the details to his in-studio guest and marketing manager at the Adirondack Speedway. Glenn shared his thoughts with Vanessa first, Attorney Joe Stanley second, and then Scott Zehr to discuss the final 'Big' race of the seaon.

MP3 File

Monday, September 21, 2009

MP3 File

This is Friday's Show, September 18th, I never posted it until Monday, enjoy!

MP3 File

Thursday, September 17, 2009

What drives a man to commit a heinous crime, then kill his victim. This and other scary dude scenarios were on Glenn's mind today. Good chatter about local incidents too, plus some juicy stories from

MP3 File

This is Wednesday's Legal Hour with Attorney Eric Swartz. Once again it's late for the blog, but worth listening too once again, enjoy!

MP3 File

Monday, September 14, 2009

Glenn had a great weekend, but even more, he had a great time talking about his trip to the new Yankee Stadium for Jeter's historic hit! Plus, Glenn had plenty to say about Kayne West's spectacle at the MTV Awards, and Serena Williams' outburst at the US Open.

MP3 File

Thursday, September 10, 2009

Looks like Glenn doesnt' know anything about Social Security, but that's ok, because according to Jim Leven, ignorance makes for good ratings. Good show, plenty of callers, and plenty of arguing. Glenn will be off tomorrow to see history in the making at the new Yankee Stadium.

MP3 File

Wednesday, September 9, 2009

Wow! Look at the date, Hitler would be proud! Anyway, antother great 'Legal Hour' today. Attorney Gary Miles sat in from start to finish, and Eric Swartz came in to finish the second half of the show together.

MP3 File

I never posted this Tuesday show, enjoy! It's a good one, with plenty of opinions.

MP3 File

Friday, September 4, 2009

Good Friday show today with a call from Attorney Joe Stanley and a chat with Vanessa in th studio. Good laughs too when Crazy Ray wanted Vanessa to do her british accent. This led to a sing along duo in the studio. Have a great Labor Day weekend.

MP3 File

Thursday, September 3, 2009

Who's Star Carter, what do the letters JRECK mean? Plus, Zip and his stories of old Fort Drum, were all topics on today's show. Plus, Glenn had his own opinion of serveral of the president's czar appointments.

MP3 File

Wednesday, September 2, 2009

Well, a great Legal Hour, this time topped with a call from Hollywood director and Watertown native, Mark Neveldine and his new bride Alison. Both were on route through the mid-west while Mark spoke about the premiere of his latest film, 'Gamer'. Glenn is excited about the premiere, because from all accounts, this movie could be the box office smash to end the summer. Also, good call from Kevin Oliver who brought up more 'legal' stuff with Eric and Gary.

MP3 File

Tuesday, September 1, 2009

Hey, who knows why Glenn wasn't on the Radio yesterday, good news is he was back in the saddle again today. Good stuff too, including Glenn's impression of Ogdensburg, a 'Crazy Ray' story, and why did a grandmother from Brooklyn sue her daughter-in-law.

MP3 File

Friday, August 28, 2009

Great Friday show about negative press, the president's supreme power and Crazy Ray. Have a great weekend!

MP3 File

Thursday, August 27, 2009

Hey now! The King of All Liberals, Jim Leven sat in for the first part of today's show, and took his own strong stance on politics and morality. Needless to say, several callers then chimed in with their own opinions too. Good stuff from start to finish, plus more variations on the death of Senator Ted Kennedy.

MP3 File

Wednesday, August 26, 2009

Once again a good legal hour today, except for the first time, Attorney Joe Stanley chimed in today while Attorney Eric Swartz was in the studio. No big deal though, we're one big happy family at the Live at Five Show!

MP3 File

Monday, August 24, 2009

Wow! Nice day for an argument, that's many arguments. Well, not that much, but at times today's show sounded like a heated debate. Of course, the debate is the health care issue and other elements associated with that dreaded word, socialism. Good show!

MP3 File

Friday, August 21, 2009

Good show, Glenn had a good conversation with novelty owner Beau Fleming of the High Life. Plus, an examination of yesterday's show (which didn't record) of Glenn's dealings with the East Main St. Guy. Have a great weekend.

MP3 File

Wednesday, August 19, 2009

It's a show, and on Wednesdays it's the legal hour. Attorney Eric Swartz came in and talked about cemetery issues, crack houses on fire and oh yes, the health care argument. Good stuff throughout today's show!

MP3 File

Tuesday, August 18, 2009

More of the Live show with Glenn, a little about this, that, a conversation with Attorney Joe Stanley and, oh yes, a tribute to a friend. Glenn sadly announced the death of his old friend 'Jeter' the cat today. His friend was a big part of his life, and Glenn has pledged to speak to others when their pet is in pain or dying. A special ending to an otherwise normal show.

MP3 File

Friday, August 14, 2009

Hey now, we were solo today, wait, Vanessa walked in and it turned into a real Friday show! A little bit of this, that and the other thing, good chatter about congressional candidate Bill Owens too! Have a listen, you'll like it!

MP3 File

Executive Director of Neighbors of Watertown, Gary Beasley sat in as Glenn's guest today. Gary has been instrumental in renovating urban blight strucutures since the early 80s. Glenn had the opportunity to speak to Gary about past projects, the current challenges and the prospects of tomorrow. Good show.

MP3 File

Tuesday, August 11, 2009

Wow! The national health care discussion is alive and well on today's show. Listen to this show as Glenn and Jim Leven field one call after another about the nation's most aggressive issue since the Iraq war began. Oh, computer problems prevented me from posting yesterday's show, plus we lost the first 14 minutes of today's show, so it starts well after the introduction.

MP3 File

Wednesday, August 5, 2009

No legal show today, but Glenn had some old-fashion fun with local issues, and got very serious with regional and national issues, especially about the tragic gun incident in Pittsburgh and the recent car crash in Westchester that took 8 lives.

MP3 File

Good show for a Tuesday afternoon, I have no idea what we talked about from this show because I'm posting it a day late...enjoy!

MP3 File

Monday, August 3, 2009

Wow, why do some people actually live? Listen to today's confusion as the show takes the wrong step. But after the miscue and idiots, Glenn and Jim Leven had the show in the right direction in no time at all. Rough start to the week, but we'll be back with a better start tomorrow.

MP3 File

Friday, July 31, 2009

It's our 3rd Anniversary since Jim Leven became the new owner to the radio property at 199 Wealtha Ave. Good show too, no problems today with Crank callers and bad timing either. Plenty of talk about last night's show with Ray Canale and Paul Fergurson at the Rustic Golf Course, and Sebby Abatte came in to talk about next week's 'Sevendust' show.

MP3 File

Thursday, July 30, 2009

Today's show started off like a train-wreck, but after Glenn got his act together (he was late setting up a live broadcast), he spoke for over 29 minutes with Assemblyman Robert Reily from the Albany region. This discussion focused on the status of Ultimate Fighting in NYS. Since the assemblyman is against the sport, Glenn thought it was a good idea to ask him about his opposition to sanctioning Ultimate Fighting events.

MP3 File

Wednesday, July 29, 2009

After a 2 week hiatus, it was the 'Legal Hour' again with attorneys Eric Swartz and Gary Miles. Good stuff too, including why Gary is no longer involved with a controversial case. Tuesday, July 21, 2009

For Tuesday's show, Glenn had Amy Flack in the studio. Amy is the marketing director for the Clayton Opera House. She discussed the season's top shows and how one can lease the hall for their own events. Attorney Joe Stanley chimed in too to discuss the latest Watertown city concern.

MP3 File

Monday, July 20, 2009

Wait! No scandal, just property stuff? Something has to be wrong in Watertown, maybe it's the new walk-way along the Black River? Anyway, a somewhat anxious Glenn panicked at first, but put on a good show. It's Monday you know.

MP3 File

Friday, July 17, 2009

Well, it's Friday, but Glenn still wants to talk 'politics'. Why not? The big congressional race is imminent and we still don't know enough about most of the republican candidates. So, Glenn brought up several articles and opened up the phone lines. From here the show took off! Have a great weekend!

MP3 File

Thursday, July 16, 2009

Good Glenn show today, about what, we don't know, just kidding. Glenn took calls from various callers about many topics including the question of who will be running for congress from the Dems and the GOP. Jim Leven dropped by, plus Glenn had fun with cartoon trivia.

MP3 File

Wednesday, July 15, 2009

Well, now, Glenn arrived late, which explains why today's show has no intro, he just went right into today's legal hour with Eric and Gary. Good stuff from start to finish, including a guy who wanted to legalize marijuana. See ya tomorrow!

MP3 File

Tuesday, July 14, 2009

What's the value of a land-locked parcel of land on Arsenal St? Plenty! That is to the businesses adjacent to that piece of land. This ongoing city property battle was the focus of today's show. Good calls, one after another.

MP3 File

Monday, July 13, 2009

Despite the fact that our host considered himself 'listless' today, his show actually sounded very upbeat. Even with a discussion about old disaster movies and Ray Milland's 'Lost Weekend', Glenn had some good in-depth discussions. Listen and find our for yourself.

MP3 File

Friday, July 10, 2009

Glenn was on a roll today, items include the President's 'look' at a young girls' ass, the cemetery story outside Chicago, Hollywood drunks and the state of affairs in Albany. Good stuff from start to finish.

Both ladies spoke about the new art gallery in Sackets Harbor, as well as the artisans who will be displaying their works of art this summer. Shannon also shared with us her furniture business in Lowville, NY.

MP3 File

Wednesday, July 8, 2009

Good legal hour onec again, very lively, entertaining. Listen to Glenn as he speaks the truth with attorneys Eric Swartz and Gary Miles. Also, Jim Leven came in with an old friend at one point, good stuff.

MP3 File

Tuesday, July 7, 2009

We've been on the air, just not on the Blogger! Sorry 'bout that, seems our streaming is working so well, it's knocking out the computer used to record the show. This has been going on for over a week, so here's a show for your listening pleasure. Just some notes, Attorney Joe Stanley, Michael Jackson's funeral, and the fate of man on the street reporting.

MP3 File

Friday, June 26, 2009

Well, Glenn was out for (2) shows, but he was ready today for the Jackson story. Good stuff today, evaluating which pop icon's death was bigger than the other. Jackson, Elvis or Lennon, you decide. Noodle sat in while Glenn fielded many calls regaring MJ's untimely death.

MP3 File

Tuesday, June 23, 2009

Hey Ohhh! This was a lame attempt at imitating the late Ed McHahon, who passed away last night. Not much activity today, but still worth listening to. Why? Well when our So-Called Host talks, it's just kind of interesting to listen to.

MP3 File

Monday, June 22, 2009

Glenn was in a good mood today, and why not, good weather, business is good, yet, Glenn gets mad when he reads articles about unruly Golf fans at this weekend's US Open on Long Island. After reading a Newsday article, Glenn had his own ideas why New York area residents act the way they do. We lost a litener too this weekend. The 'Bathroom' guy passed away after a brief illness.

MP3 File

Friday, June 19, 2009

The Blog went down on me again yesterday, and that was a great show too with the Boxing club members and Tim from the DPAO. Today, Glenn went swimming for callers, then for the better part of the second half of today's show, Glenn had author Chuck Rubin on the show to discuss his book, 'Don't Let Your Children Ruin Your Life'. Good discussion about the 'pitfall's of drug addiction in an American family.

MP3 File

Wednesday, June 17, 2009

Technical difficulties yesterday, so no show was posted. However, today's show makes up for the void. Take a listen to this week's zanniest 'Legal Hour' to date with attorneys Eric Swartz and Gary Miles. Everything from the death penalty to oversized Watertown women. Have fun!

MP3 File

Monday, June 15, 2009

A somewhat lathargic host fielded calls throughout today's show, but it felt like something was missing, like a good show! Just kidding, actually, a good show about nothing at all today, a bit about Albany and something about the origins of French expressions with Danny Francis.

MP3 File

Thursday, June 11, 2009

Whew! What crawled up our so-called host's butt today? Listen to a very outspoken Glenn Curry as he tears the political system apart this afternoon on 'Live'. Good calls, one after another, a rapid-fire show with real attitude!

MP3 File

Wednesday, June 10, 2009

It was another informative, funny, and yes sometimes controversial 'Lega Hour' today with Attorney Eric Swartz and Attorney Gary Miles. Plenty of stuff, from the number one way to get a DWI to local and national issues that matter to us all. Good show!

MP3 File

Tuesday, June 9, 2009

Despite a head cold, Glenn was at it again! More about the Albany coup, a potential 'millionaire' candidate, and the prospect of a governor businessman in NYS. All of this, plus Attorney Joe Stanley today.

MP3 File

Look what's happening in Albany! The balance of power has changed right before our eyes. This headline was something Glenn was unfamiliar with at first, but quickly became the thrust of today's show. Good description of this past weekend's 'Boys Weekend', plus Glenn believes Texas Horseshoes is the best backyard game ever!

To be a republican in northern NY, how does that work? Well, listen to today's rivoting show about the future of the party during this summer's special election. For the second time, Ogdensburg councilman Nick Vaugh, businessman Brian Peck, and Republican assistant, Julie Robins sat in with Glenn today to discuss the political present and future in our region.

Sorry about yesterday's show, it never posted correctly. Anyway, good show today about the upcoming special election for John McHugh's congressional seat. Glenn took one call after another about the race. Listen and judge for yourself, will it be a rich lawyer who doesn't even reside in our region, or a humble elected official?

Tuesday, June 2, 2009

Wow! Congressman John McHugh is moving on up to become the nations' newest Secretary of the Army. With this News, the question remains, who will run in a special congressional election? This and Oz's birthday song on today's very exciting show!

Where is everybody? That was the question during the first half of today's show. Then it was a question about tonight's new Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. That got people calling, including Dan the Dem, who had his own insight to the late night wars. Good show, despite the gap in callers.

Nice Friday show, it included some notes about Mark Neveldine's fiance and Hollywood actress Allison Loman, who's premiering tonight in the movie 'Drag Me to Hell'. Then it was some background news about Kenny Nims' family history. Good chat with Samantha, and our pharmacy friend called in from Cleveland to say hi via the stream. He's there for the Yankee games this weekend! Oh, Glenn hated the way ABC treated this year's 'Spelling Bee' broadcast.

Jordan Damon, MMA competitor along with John Gibbons stopped by today to talk about the fastest-growing sport in America, Ultimate Fighting. The guys came in for the second half of today's show to talk about Jordan's training facility here in Watertown.

It's another 'Legal Hour' on the 'Live at Five' show. This time it was with Attorney Eric Swartz. Glenn covered as many of the local legal issues with Eric, but some couldn't be discussed because of Eric's involvement with the cases. Good discussions regarding the constitution, the supreme court nominee and the act of begin a lawyer.

With news of a fatal car accident that took the lives of 4 young people, including a pregnant woman, Glenn dedicated some time to this weekend's tragic event. Attorney Joe Stanley explained where the process goes now, and Glenn fielded several other callers who wanted to express their sympathies to the families involved. From there it was all Lacrosse, as our hometown heroes from Watertown High take home another championship trophy in front of a national audience.

Thursday, May 21, 2009

Wow! What a show today! First, a conversation with Dan the Democrat about last night's 'Idol' finale, then it was a compelling conversation with commercial pilot Kevin Oliver, who shared his thoughts about the Buffalo crash. Then, it was a 25 minute discussion with recording star Benny Mardones, who is performing this Sunday in Alex Bay. Glenn immediately gave away tickets to lucky listeners! Find out from the singer himself, the inspiration behind the song 'Into the Night'.

Tuesday, May 19, 2009

Is it torture, or not? This was the burning question on today's show. After the topic came up during Glenn's discussion with Attorney Joe Stanley, the show went in another direction all together. Good stuff, mixed in with 'Noodles' and Vanessa at the end of today's show.

Monday, May 18, 2009

Back for a Monday show, however, please note, Glenn doesn't begin today's show. Instead, Jim Leven begins the show without an intro. Anyway, Glenn showed up after a few minutes are put on a good show. Today's show was highlighted with a discussion with Samantha who walked 4 miles to claim her prize at a local dealership. Also, Glenn went on again about how Lacrosse should be the city's number one hight school sport.

Technical difficluties getting the show to the blog this week, but here's a great and entertaining Friday show!

Tuesday, May 12, 2009

What a weekend, and what a town! Glenn reflected on his extended weekend he had in Washington DC with his wife, brother and sister-in-law. His first trip to the Capital included a picture opportunity at the back entrance to the White House. This was just one of many sight-seeing stories Glenn shared today. Jim Leven was Glenn's co-host.

MP3 File

Thursday, May 7, 2009

What? Glenn at a loss for words? Well to some degree, not much happening these days, but that's ok, because like Glenn says, there's always something to talk about. Today, it was a discussion about the fate of Alex Bay. Plus some other chatter about Glenn's trip to Washington D.C. this weekend! The show will be back next Tuesday!

MP3 File

Wednesday, May 6, 2009

Well, despite the fact we didn't have our normal 'legal hour' with the guys, Glenn still managed to produce a good Wednesday show. Good stuff, from 'American Idol' chatter, to an 'on the street report' with 'Crazy Ray'. Oh, John McHugh called (not the Congressman), with some encouraging words about

MP3 File

Tuesday, May 5, 2009

It's a Tuesday edition, which means Glenn had a conversation with Attorney Joe Stanley, and he also covered the 'pothole' show from yesterday. Good stuff today, especially when both Jim and Vanessa came in to discuss the power of a woman.

MP3 File

Monday, May 4, 2009

What's in a pothole? Plenty! As in plenty of nothing. Jim Leven lost a tire to Palmer St. and he wanted to use the Live at Five Show to make a point, 'when will the city stand up to potholes'? Well, this got some kind of response, listen to today's show as we all find out that Watertown doesn't have as many potholes as we thought.

MP3 File

Friday, May 1, 2009

Does Glenn feel loud mouth talk show hosts are just too angry? Yes! Good chatter with a man who thought the Mexicans are stealing farming jobs from Americans. Glenn didn't agree. Good stuff for a Friday, including a geography lesson regarding Central America.

MP3 File

Thursday, April 30, 2009

After Glenn shared the segment of VP Biden on the Today Show, he then shifted gears to discuss the days of discipline. More particularly, the days of grade school incidents at Catholic Schools. From this however, several callers chimed in about their own experiences at Catholic and public schools. Good show about another era.

MP3 File

Wednesday, April 29, 2009

Don't miss today's very informative and somewhat controversial 'legal hour' with attornies Eric Swartz and Gary Miles. Gary defended himself from a letter to the editor which was read on the air from SG because Glenn couldn't find it online. Good conversation too about the 'OJ' trial and stalkers.

MP3 File

Tuesday, April 28, 2009

Good show today, first up a two for Tuesday with 'Crazy Ray', our weekly call from Attorney Joe Stanley, and an interesting conversation today with 'Dan the Dem'. Then, as an added bonus, Hollywood writer/director, and Watertown native Mark Neveldine chimed in with great international numbers for his latest movie 'Crank 2'!

MP3 File

Monday, April 27, 2009

Good Monday show today, Glenn had time to cover all the nonsense. Not much, but entertaining, especially when Glenn had a caller answer his own question. Victor had some radio thoughts, and Jim Leven is very cautious when it comes to flying in questionable weather.

MP3 File

Friday, April 24, 2009

For your Friday entertainment, listen in on today's very high-spirited show. Not much to write home about, just good chat with Samantha, East Main, Justin and a guy who went to High School with the Craigs List killer.

MP3 File

Thursday, April 23, 2009

Hey now! We're solo today, well kinda. Glenn had several people in at the outset, but by the second half, it was your 'typical' show. Crazy call at the end of the show when 'East Main' tried desperately to understand Glenn's description of a nearby village.

MP3 File

Wednesday, April 22, 2009

It's another 'Legal Hour' with our friends Attorneys Eric Swartz and Gary Miles. Today's show covered local, regional and international issues, including what to do with teenage pirates in our legal system. As usual, Glenn read today's police blotter and offered questions to his guests based on their professional input.

MP3 File

Tuesday, April 21, 2009

Good show with: Attorney Joe Stanley who reflected on the various national issues Glenn brought up. Then it was a little of this and a little of that, including a slight crush from Victor who seems to really like Vanessa when she's on the air.

MP3 File

Monday, April 20, 2009

Hey now, Glenn is just goofy somtimes, and today, he sounded 'goofy' again. Good show today, some of this, some of that, oh, 'Noodle' and Vanessa came in to chat too.

MP3 File

Friday, April 17, 2009

Hey now, we're back and ready to entertain you with a lively Friday show. Things got interesting when the new girl, Vanessa cam into the studio with Noodle. It's always fun on a Friday, and today was no exception. Listen to Glenn's movie script ideas at the end of the show.

MP3 File

Wednesday, April 15, 2009

The tea bags are coming, the tea bags are coming! Not really, but Glenn had fun with words today on another version of the 'legal hour' with attorneys Eric Swartz and Gary Miles. Good show once again about the legal issues in Watertown and beyond. All this on the day America protested their government for over-taxation.

MP3 File

Tuesday, April 14, 2009

We're back, and ready for Joe Stanley, today's newz and the callers that make the Live at Five show what it is. Today was no exception.

MP3 File

Friday, April 10, 2009

For Easter weekend, Glenn covered the bases, well not really, just some references thoughout today's show. Not much to declare here, other than Noodle came in to join Glenn's conversatons.

MP3 File

Thursday, April 9, 2009

Glenn was not in a good mood today, but things got better as the show progressed. Yesterday's topics carried over to today's show. One topic was about the Indian River law suit that was the central topic today for the second half of the show. Listen and judge for yourself!

MP3 File

Wednesday, April 8, 2009

What can I tell you, the 'Legal Hour' gets more and more interesting with each passing week. Today, Glenn discussed several local cases in the headlines today, including the controversy at Indian River HS. Both Eric and Gary gave us their thoughts about discrimination. Very active show today, something you should have an open mind about.

Tuesday, April 7, 2009

Good show today with the 'Duff', Attorney Stanley, Jim Leven and Vanessa today. Gotta go!

MP3 File

Monday, April 6, 2009

What a difference a weekend makes. First, Glenn cleared the air on future battles on someone else's dime. After that, it was a very entertaining show, 'live' from was an interview with Watertown's own Mark Neveldine. Mark spoke with Glenn regarding his sequel to 'Crank' titled, 'Crank, High Voltage'. Mark explained what the sequel is all about, plus added another surprise to the show by having the 'heavy' from the new movie call in. That's when Glenn spent the last 15 minutes talking to actor, Clifton Collins Jr. Clifton covered his busy year and those who influenced his career. A great show to start the week!

MP3 File

Thursday, April 2, 2009

Good show about old time hollywood actors including Broderick Crawford and Chuck Conners to name a few. Glenn can't understand the big 'to do' about Michelle Obama and the Queen. Good show, also note, yesterday's show has been posted too!

Another 'Legal Hour' with Eric Swartz, posted a day late.

Tuesday, March 31, 2009

Will your computer work tomorrow? Based on what some experts say, maybe not. Plus, if not tomorrow, maybe some other time. This and other issues were shared today. Plus, Attorney Joe Stanley called, and for the first time, Vanessa (new AE to the station) sat down with Glenn this afternoon toward the end of the show.

MP3 File

Monday, March 30, 2009

It was a wonderful session with the Glenn man today as he mis-spoke about history (according to Danny Francis), established why SU sucked on Friday and why living in the military is actually better than in the private sector in Northern New York. Simple show for cold rainy Monday afternoon.

MP3 File

Friday, March 27, 2009

Well, without much pomp and circumstance, Glenn finalized one of the craziest weeks in the show's history today. Not much to add, other than an interesting conversation with Mike Burto, the head of the Kinney Drugs pharmacy department. Mike called to speak about the newest Kinney Drug store location on Washington St. Oh, some historical references made today about old theaters on Public Square.

MP3 File

Thursday, March 26, 2009

What can I say, this has been one crazy week! Once again, Glenn is being hassled by a certain person from St. Lawrence County. As a result, the show now has an unwanted distraction. With that being said, things did move on with the usual banter. Good stuff too about the Vasquez case and a 17 year old kid in trouble with the law.

MP3 File

Wednesday, March 25, 2009

Another great Legal Hour with attorneys Eric Swartz & Gary Miles. A myriad of topics today including a letter referring to a high profile case from the mid 80s detailing the imminent release of a man named Ross who will be living in Syracuse. This and more contemporary legal topics were discussed today including the Vasquez case, and the Reardon man up on very serious criminal charges. Plus, much more, including the newest criminal terms such as 'Sexting' and 'Upskirting' to name a few.
