10.26.11

Glenn is a bit confused with the new Skype Phone situation, and says it will be a 'learning curve' to get all the kinks out. Yet, all things considered, it's a lot better than what the phones have been sounding like recently. Glenn will not be back in the studio until next week, he and his wife will be on a cruise for the remainder of the week. See you next week!

For Sharon's Birthday, Glenn said, 'Say Happy Birthday to Sharon when you see her'! Glenn had 'Cashier Tom' in the studio today to see if Skype can be installed in the studio for tomorrow's (2) Hour 'Joe Knows' show. Glenn had fun imitating 'Middle-Class Mike' today too.

Monday afternoon, and Glenn's asking, which media outlet is giving the show any attention? Especially after (2) days of Mayoral candidates last week. But wait, apparently some 'Times' blogger, mentioned it, so Glenn is somewhat happy.

Well look who sat in the studio today for 'Political Thursday', the same man who calls himself mayor, and AM1240 'Hotline' host, Jeff Graham. Jeff laid down his political platform for campaign 2011. After roughly 25 minutes of chatter, Jeff fielded calls right until the end of the show.

Even though they have big bats, and talent. the Yanks fell short last night by losing to Detroit in 5 games. This made Glenn somewhat depressed, but resolved with the fact that money can't buy you everything.

It's the first edition to our bi-weekly 'financial show' with Brian Exford. Glenn wants to combine today's headlines with a financial expert, topped by a bit of 'Live at Five' magic.
Callers chimed in to ask and follow up on today's conversation. Good start!

It's a Tuesday show with Joe Stanley, and the opinions of yesterday's high-speed chase of a fallen businessman. Should high-speed chases for suspects be pulled back if the crime they're fleeing from is a minor infraction? That question came up when 'Otis' chimed in.

Sure, we can talk about the American girl who got acquitted of murder in Italy, but instead, we hear about a high-speed chase on Route 342, a Viggo Mortenson sighting and 'B' movies. Good program.

Friday's show went well, no really it did, just can't remember what everyone talked about. Oh yea, there was talk of a big drug bust earlier this week, and the old days of 'bullying'. And, oh yes, the 'Extravert's' answer to 'Little Q's' future.
