3.28.13

A very lethargic host took to the airwaves today, and did his best. Good 'solo' show on a Thursday, plus a revealing conversation with Justin who found out he was neighbors with Glenn in the early 90s.

What started off as a normal show, turned into Glenn's view of the Gay Marriage agenda. Sure, make it legal, but don't tell me the institution of marriage will alter the gay lifestyle. SG opposed Glenn's view, but this part of the issue will never be addressed in the main-stream media.

Glenn's Tuesday assessment of the Hotline conversation between himself and Middle Class Mike was funny enough to talk about today. Glenn's feelings about Mayor Bloomberg's influence on the 'gun' issue, and our weekly conversation with Attorney Joe Stanley. Oh, some chatter about today's generation too.

Whoops, lack-luster effort to get this week's shows on, sorry. Good stuff this week, and it starts with Monday's talk about the tournament, and a local spat between Mayor Graham and Johnny Spezzano.

Friday's show was active with callers, especially with (2) big local stories. First up, General Brown's budget is crumbling, resulting in the loss of 34 jobs. Plus, a national company has moved in on a local bus company. What's the problem with our school budget, why are we running on empty?

Glenn was alone again today, wait, here come legislator Bobby Ferris for more 'gun' talk. Some new callers, plus a review of today's NCAA games. Oh, and a look at the upcoming DPAO concert series for this summer.

Wednesday's show, and the first day of spring, and look outside, it's mid January around here. Say, Glenn 'solo' again with a call from Q, NCAA talk with James, and others, and oh yes, an apology to our lady friend who thought his comments about Caroline and Gillibrant were sexist...I apologize. :)

No Joe Stanley today, so Glenn had a 'solo' show about whatever came to mind. Good calls, some new ones too, but it all came back to what Glenn exclaims is the new 'Agenda' in the country. The fact that we're losing services at local day-care centers, and other essential services, gives Glenn the impression that they're trying hard to make people angry at the 'white' congress.

Glenn was just full of BS today, as he strolled into the studio for a Monday show. He reflected how we perceive ourselves, some basketball talk, then it was SG's call about tonight's big meeting. But the thrust of today's show, was once again, the ridiculousness of new TV shows and movies coming out of Hollywood, more particularly 'Zombie' movies and bad sitcoms.

Ok, the gun issue continues, and Bobby Ferris stopped by again today, but that didn't stop Glenn from going off on the issue once and for all! Glenn is just pissed off that this has become a political issue and not a 'common-sense' issue instead. He talks about the latest findings of what exactly happened in Newtown on December 14th, 2012.

It's a 'Top of the Morning' show today with the two Pattys', who showed up to talk about this weekend's Irish Festival. Both Patty Strife and Patty Shaughnessy discussed all the attractions for the three-day event at the State Office Building.

Good solid show, Bobby Ferris was in, but today's show included Glenn's impression of our local Assistant DA who got a bad DWI! From there, it was business as usual.

It's a History lesson today with Glenn, Danny Francis and the Gunnut. Late posting Monday's show, plus, we lost Tuesday's show...sorry.

Whoops, forgot to post Friday's show, where Glenn is 'solo' and thankful for the (2) audio posts on Newzjunky.com. Then, it was a look at yesterday's show with Councilman Jeff Smith, and the listener's opinions of what he had to say about the new mandate. Have a great weekend, Syracuse really sucked this afternoon against Georgetown, terrible!

Finally, so-called host, Glenn Curry got down to business with this new mandate set forth by the City council last week. Councilman Jeff Smith stopped by to bring more 'clarity' to the new updated mandate. Many callers, the show does start off with John the Mechanic about NYS gun laws, then Jeff comes into the studio.

Let's bring in the girls from the Little Sister's Bar and Restaurant in Defieret. Both owners, Kim and Shelly, stopped by to talk about why their historic place is the 'place to be' for great food and spirits. Glenn had fun with the ladies this afternoon.

Back from Long Island, and quick to get into the whole Thompson Blvd thing. Glenn however did speak with Councilman Jeff Smith who seems to think the new mandate is simply misunderstood. MCM and others chimed in with their own point of view, as did the 'Gunnut'. Good way to start off the week late!
