1.31.12

It's a 'Lazy Day' in the studio this afternoon. Glenn even tried to give away tickets to the Buckner event, but to no avail. Anyway, sit back and listen to a laid-back show.

What's this, Glenn is taking up space again! That's the discussion of space and its lost potential. Glenn feels we need to continue, others, while, well, don't necessarily agree.

Not Financial Wednesday, today was Financial Friday with Brian Exford. Good elements too throughout today's show, including why one should invest in Facebook, but not all of your money. Plus, how can soldiers effectively save while enlisted.

Glenn was solo again today, until local business owner Brian Croft stopped by to say hello. Some republican debate observations, Randy and the Intelligent guy chimed in, along with other callers on today's Thursday edition.

Glenn had the honor of having local Hollywood producer/director Mark Neveldine in the studio today to promote his upcoming movie' 'Ghost Rider', Spirit of Vengeance with Nick Cage. Mark shared some stories from the making of his latest movie as well as other tales and observations from his illustrious Hollywood career. Good show!

Glenn covered the (2) NFL games, Saturday's republican debate, and his thoughts about the death of Joe Paterno. All this mixed up with some good call ins and a trip from Oz who covers some movies when SG chimes in. Good Monday show.

It's a little bit of nothing, some space travel stuff, and the usual callers on a cold Friday afternoon. More political chatter from last night's debate, and other exciting (not really) things from today's show.

Glenn gave his listeners the sad news about the loss of a former employee and friend at the station. Dick Whelan, career media man from Syracuse died last night. Glenn and Oz shared a moment at the beginning of the show, before the show went back to its usual form.

Well, after the big City Manager news from last night, Glenn fielded one call after another. City Manager Mary Coriveau was given notice that her current contract will not be extended. Glenn didn't know why, but it seemed others did, more particularly, callers on today's show.

Tuesday's show included our attorney friend from Syracuse, Joe Stanley. Glenn brought up the recent cruise ship sinking, as well as the hardship of ruining your car in slushy and crappy conditions. Then 'Oz' stopped by to talk about Elton John and other 70s pop stars, and the usual 'stuff' on today's show.

On a dreary day back to work, Glenn tried to break in today's stories as best he could. More about the dog park, and Glenn thinks the local media should get away from referring to winter weather as a bad thing.

Good Friday show with a solo Glenn doing it on one hell of a windy, snowy day. Winter has just arrived 5 weeks late.

It's all about the wind issue today. Once again, Glenn invited Rob Aliasso, Hester, and Brooks to the studio to discuss the latest on the windmill farms proposed for the Golden Crescent region. The main point today, was all about 'Article 10', a new mandate created by Governor Cuomo to override local law makers when it comes to energy-related projects.

Today's first 'Financial' hour for 2012, included the latest economic updates, investment strategies, and of course Glenn's take on things. The usual callers, plus a female caller who chimed in about store owners who don't take the time to clean their sidewalks.

What began as a legal discussion with 'SG', turned into the 'Dog Show'. That's the proposed ruling against dogs in public venues within the city. Seems everyone was in favor of banning dogs from all public events, including the Farmer's market where there was a dog bite incident last summer.

Hmm, Glenn has some changes in the studio, in fact, today, the show made history, by being videotaped for the first time by our 'so-called' host. Good chatter from the 'usual' crew. The Video link will be posted later tonight!

For 'Little Christmas' Glenn did the show 'solo'. Some fun today, but mostly Glenn ranting about the 'lower' side of today's world, and he still wonders where all the smart ideas have gone in the world.

1.5.12

It seemed today's 'theme' was about the 'mid-section', or better known as 'The Mid-East'. Glenn shared his views on why Israel is America's 51st State. Long conversations, but a good political show.

1.4.12

Glenn's 'solo' show included his reason why the current 'Stop Smoking' ads are just too much for the majority of us who are life-time non-smokers. Enough is enough! If someone still doesn't get that, and never will. 'Oz' stopped by when Glenn needed some hollywood trivia answers. Good show.

It was our first show of the year, and a great start. Good call with Attorney Joe Stanley, plus Glenn had some heated comments about the Iowa Caucus and other topical items. Good stuff!
