12.27.12

Well Glenn had a bit more oxygen today, and got back into his theory of 'Socialized Acceptance'. The act of caving to the overwhelming number of 'social agenda' politicians, media pundits, entire news services and of course, Hollywood. Fiscal cliff a reality? Bring it on, no one cares.

12.26.12

The day after Christmas, and although Glenn had plenty to talk about from his extended weekend, he couldn't remember what he did. Yea, some talk about the Knicks game, but not much. Anyway, hopefully, our so-called host will wake up by tomorrow's show.

MP3 File

They say it's you birthday, that's 50th birthday. So, Glenn took some 'good wishes' from callers and shared his plans for the Christmas weekend in the city. Off tomorrow, have a great Christmas!

12.19.12

Today's Wednesday show included once again discussions about Newtown, plus, on a lighter note, Glenn had some questions about his wife's car, and its battery troubles.

12.17.12

It was a weekend of why's. Why did this happen on Friday? Our show touched on the nation's biggest story, regrettably. Glenn can't take sides on the 'Gun-Control' thing. No one wins that argument, it's just too easy to kill like this bastard did. Anyway, you decide, guns, mental illness, or an overbearing mother who loved guns?

MP3 File

Monday, December 17, 2012

12.17.12

Now the debate is on, but Glenn believes in both sides of the story, and only suggests that every household member be scrutinized, not just those who own the guns themselves.

MP3 File

Bad day, real bad. Today was the day another lunatic went on a rampage with multiple guns. Thus, a somber show about the story, and other items.

Glenn shared his thoughts about the 'Sandy' concert at the Garden last night. In his words, the old Brits came to NYC to do a concert. Glenn also continued yesterday's discussion about the lack of ambition there is in America today.

MP3 File

Wednesday, December 12, 2012

12.12.12

Look at the date! Oh, big Sandy concert tonight too. Anyway, Glenn was 'solo' today, and opened up the show with his usual banter, then it was a show about the change in political opinions in America. Glenn feels many people are simply willing to have the government run their lives, and being a 'super' power is meaningless anymore.

MP3 File

Tuesday, December 11, 2012

12.11.12

Yes, it's Tuesday, you know the drill, Joe Stanley, then Glenn going off on one thing or another. Weird findings too lately, plus a reasonable look at being 'White' these days.

MP3 File

12.10.12

Wow, Glenn is in the running! The weekly running of the NFL games, and if New England wins tonight by a score of 24-22 or resonable facsimile, he'll win! Excited for him? Of course not, who cares! March Snider called from North Carolina to talk about Glenn's chances and the fine people from Copenhagen.

MP3 File

12.7.12

Friday's show posted late, Glenn was in the studio alone and did his usual thing!

MP3 File

Thursday, December 6, 2012

Just another show? No, it's just another show with Legislator Big Apple Bobby. Today, it wasn't politics, it was 'what's up with the world'? Good calls, somewhat quiet show.

Glenn had the honor of interviewing (3) lovely ladies, who were in today to talk about the 'New' First Round Bar & Lounge on Factory St. After months of serious renovations, the bar is up and running and is doing very well.  First Round co-owner Jeannie Danielson, along with bar manager Angela Nyber and a guest appearance from Privateer owner Nicole Kernan who is promoting the 'Privateers Night' at the new bar on Factory St.  Good Show!

MP3 File

12.4.12

As always, Tuesday always includes a conversation with Attorney Joe Stanley, today Glenn couldn't believe the front cover on the post. Then, it was a little bit of this and that.

Christmas Party 'stories' we all have one, two, maybe more. Glenn talked about their party from this past Saturday, then asked if others could share their stories too. Not many, mainly because it was a slow phone day today.

11.30.12

It's the end of the week, and Glenn just had fun taking essentially one call after the other, while fitting in 'Little Q' at the Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Larry from Prague does have 'issues' with Bruce Mittman from yesterday's show. His rant is at the beginning.

MP3 File

11.29.12

It was another version of the Glenn and Bruce Mittman show today. Glenn fed Bruce questions, and he gave Glenn his humble and 'conservative' opinion, which spurred many callers throughout.

MP3 File

Wednesday, November 28, 2012

11.28.12

It's a 'Hump' day Wednesday show with our so-called host. Glenn was solo today, and fielded calls from new and old callers. One caller, a young listener had some interesting views on the young, and their impression about politics and society.

MP3 File

11.26.12

Whoops, late posting this, but here's a good Tuesday show, which includes Joe Stanley and a good assortment of calls.

MP3 File

Wednesday, November 21, 2012

The obligatory question, what are we thankful for? Of course, it's the day before Thanksgiving and Glenn fielded callers throughout the show. Good call with one caller who was thankful for the show during hard times.

11.19.12

The show started like any other, and then a local actor stepped in the studio. Jay Story, the same Jay who appeared in the local movie, 'Get Out Alive' stopped by to talk about the showing at JCC on Friday, and about his career.

MP3 File

Let's finish the week with a good Friday show, and I believe we did. Just a bit of everything that either mattered or not. Calls from both Duffanys', SG, the Extravert and our friend Louie.

MP3 File

Thursday, November 15, 2012

11.15.12

Solo today, with sad news about the loss of a local shop owner. Then it was on to Double D and his meeting with a cinder block, then a conversation about James Bond.

MP3 File

Wednesday, November 14, 2012

11.14.12

Glenn had local movie star Dave Iannotti in the studio today to talk more about 'Get Out Alive'. Dave was happy to talk about his star role as a psychotic killer. The film's producer, Clay Dumaw called in as well to share stories on how the movie was made in nearby Carthage. The show does begin with a conversation about the scandals in Washington with Big Steve, but the rest of the show is all about the making of this local production.

MP3 File

Tuesday, November 13, 2012

11.13.12

SG was in the studio today, to get first-hand answers from Attorney Joe Stanley today about the Watertown's dog law ordinance. Joe was more than happy to help with SG's issue. Then, the show was all over the place, you decide if it was worth listening.

MP3 File

11.12.12

The warmest Fall ever continues, as Glenn shares a special story with listeners from last week. Plus, Glenn discovers there was a local movie made in Carthage, so 'Lefty' arranges a show for this Thursday to explain the 'cut 'em' up movie and how it was made.

Is Glenn giving in, or is he really giving up on things in America? In his opinion, too many people are blinded by entitlements and the mainstream media's love affair with the less fortunate in America. We had a good balance of callers on both sides of the political coin.

MP3 File

11.7.12

Close, but no cigar for Romney and Doheny. Glenn had his thoughts about last night's results, and of course, where we go from here. Interesting callers, yet we did get off topic with the dreaded 'torture' issue, but for the most part, a good follow-up to last night's election results.

More amazing stories coming out of NYC, but today they announced the marathon would be cancelled after all. Glenn seems to think if the conditions continue down there, things could get really ugly.

MP3 File

11.1.12

It's a new month, and a different day for Joe Stanley to call in, but that he did. Good conversation about the 'aftermath' of the storm, and some good suggestions for the future. Then Glenn finished the show with his own take on the political use of the word 'jobs'.

MP3 File

10.31.12

It's Halloween, and Glenn hardly mentioned it. Instead, it was an apology for Glenn's lackluster discription of Hurricane Sandy, and its adverse affects on NYC and the surrounding region. Good show throughout, plus, Johnny Spezzano stopped by to update this year's Radio-Thon for the CMN.

MP3 File

10.30.12

Tuesday's show did not include Attorney Joe Stanley, but did include some good chatter about Hurricane Sandy and its damage to NYC and the surrounding area.

If it's a storm coming to the Northeast, you know it's going to dominate the day's issues. Glenn spoke with the local Red Cross manager about the imminent 'Hurricane Sandy' storm crashing into New Jersey today and tonight. Yet, Glenn still had to talk about how annoying it is to update his phone.

MP3 File

Thursday, October 25, 2012

10.25.12

What a weird show, first Glenn took a call from a client, that went on for about a minute or two, hmmm. Then it was the Glenn and Bobby Ferris show once again.

MP3 File

10.24.12

Different show today, as Glenn speaks to his other 'boss/owner' Bruce Mittman who discussed the state of radio in Watertown and in America.

MP3 File

Tuesday, October 23, 2012

10.23.12

Yes it's one day after the last Presidential debate, but Glenn once again takes another direction. Main story today was about a local woman who is suing the Jeff. Co. Sheriff's dept. for harassment. Then Attorney Joe Stanley chimed in for his segment, and then it was Glenn and 'Gunnut', followed by Duff's review of Bill O'Reiley's books about Lincoln and Kennedy.

MP3 File

Monday, October 22, 2012

10.22.12

Somewhat of a light show today, Glenn actually asked and got advice on how to wager on his weekly football sheets. Not much to declare today, not even politics as usual.

10.19.12

Let's follow up 'Law Talk' for two hours with a good Friday show. Today, Glenn talks about the new 'Edge' Romney has in the polls, plus takes a serious look at yesterday's Yankees loss to the Tigers. Some good 'stuff'.

MP3 File

What an odd show today, but very entertaining. Glenn sat down with storage building owners, Joanne Sanchez and Charlene Williams. Although both are business associates, new building owner Charlene feels there's nothing wrong with their recent acquisition of a north side building originally owned by Sahchez. Confused? Yes, don't worry, so was Glenn.

Who was back in the studio today, Legislator Bobby Ferris, who was in to share some of the topics to be discussed at tonight's tonight's legislature meeting. Then, our show ends with Glenn's analysis of an anti-Doheny website, designed by the democrats. An issue Glenn pin-pointed for the remaining minutes.

MP3 File

10.8.12

Talk about nothing? Of course not, we talk about what's important, and today Glenn discussed the important issues with the usuals today. Today's focus, class war in America, and the 'blame game'.

MP3 File

Tuesday, October 2, 2012

10.2.12

Tuesday is time for a talk with Joe Stanley who talked with Glenn about a hospital death that resulted from the wrong blood type used during a transfusion. Plus, a discussion about technology and acts of perversion. Then it was back to Glenn claiming he wasn't going to talk about politics, but had to speak about the most recent anti-Doheny ad.

MP3 File

10.1.12

October is here, but can Glenn walk away from the politics? Well, at first he did, then during the second half of the show, he didn't. So, it was a 'pop' style conversation with the 'Extravert and others.

Numbers, percentages, facts and figures, who says any of this is the real reason to our nation's problems. That's how Glenn feels about the constant arguments callers come up with. There always seems to be a reason, but Glenn sees it entirely different. To him, all you need to do to see what the problem is, is to look at who's not making it happen all together. Yes, those people on the porch on Academy St. That's the 'culture' that Glenn feels is bringing us down.

Let's start off the show with a 'low-key' approach right? No, 'Dan the Dem' has his own questions which spurred a 15 minute argument about Glenn's assessment of our cultural breakdown. Others chimed in afterwards. I guess we're back to the same approach.

MP3 File

9.21.12

Whoa! Plenty of odd stuff today from 'Double D', but he's just an example of those who are frustrated with the way things are today. Glenn, of course was back on the saddle again with his views on what Americans are today, than what they were generations before. Plus, a local look at the congressional race too.

MP3 File

9.20.12

Let's take a step away from you know what today. Instead, Glenn had Community Broadcaster sales person, Kari Plumpton in the studio today to ask the 'Live at Five' audience, what would you like from our local 'Black River Valley Club' in downtown Watertown. Good discussion, and good calls.

MP3 File

9.19.12

Glenn was out felling terrible yesterday from another sinus infection, but today, he's back in the saddle with a full explanation to why he's not a moderate. So, despite the thought of walking away from the 'race', Glenn was at it once again. This time, his own opinion about Mitt Romney's secret tape in front of a group of Florida contributors.

MP3 File

9.17.12

Little to talk about today. Maybe it's because Glenn is talked so much about the current presidential campaign, he feels he needs to go in another direction. But something tells me that will change.

MP3 File

9.14.12

Even though the recent events in the mid-east seemed to put our president in a bad spot, he still has a lead over Romney. This, and other elements of the campaign baffled our so-called host so much, he's decided to throw his hands in the air in defeat. Yes, Glenn (sarcastically) claims he's a new-born liberal on today's show.

MP3 File

9.13.12

Today's show includes a pop-quiz with Little Q, plus Glenn wonders how things changed between now and 9.11 with Dan the Dem. Plus more observations about the dems and republicans.

MP3 File

9.12.12

With all the turmoil going on in Egypt, Lybia and Israels' concern over a nuclear driven Iran, Glenn didn't know where to start today. This the day after NBC decided to stay with an interview with the Kardashians and not the yearly silent tribute to those who died on 9.11. Glenn crammed in as much as he could, but did have good conversations with some new and old callers.

MP3 File

Tuesday, September 11, 2012

9.11.12

On this day, the 11th anniversary of 9.11, Glenn took some time to speak to two federal representatives who were their to promote a senior fair at the fairgrounds. In between, Glenn also took a call from Attorney Joe Stanley, then back to the fed dudes. Then several calls who were somewhat unfriendly to the guests about 'union' talk and entitlement. After that interview, it was 'Dan the Dem' who thinks Glenn doesn't have the right to tell people how they should live or act. This is when our 'so-called' host to things to another level. Listen towards the end, if you're in a hurry.

MP3 File

9.10.12

Glenn thinks election day may might mean a second year for President Obama, and a full Republican house and senate. This, in Glenn's words, should encourage the Matt Doheny camp to advertise more in Watertown. That, and other stuff on today's show.

Glenn just can't get over how the delegates at the DNC handled the 'Party Platform' vote. He seems to think there's a strong anti-Israel sentiment amongst the party, thanks to the 'culture' that the President has brought to the table. Jim Leven was in the studio to contest Glenn's feelings for most of the show.

MP3 File

Seems like Glenn took an energy pill today. He started off with a bang by speaking about the big upcoming presidential race. Oh yes, Glenn also speaks of a big announcement on Tuesday at the stations.

8.21.12

Tuesday's show included our weekly chat with Attorney Joe Stanley, who was about to begin a Basketball game at his YMCA. Good chat too about ESPN and the Bernie Fine scandal. Then, like yesterday, Glenn elaborated on his opinion about the documentary he saw about Obama's America/2016.

MP3 File

Glenn had his usual phone call from Attorney Joe Stanley, and a flurry of calls after that, including, yes the usual crowd. Glenn thinks the country will be better off in the future if President Obama wins a second term. Plus, Glenn gets a history lesson from the 'original' US Presidents.

Glenn feels better about his health, now let's see if he can turn down the heat. Then, two talented musicians came in from the band dubbed, 'Annie in the Water'. Excellent acoustic performance for their upcoming show at IHC.

Glenn was back in the saddle today, but still suffering from 'Bedroom-Itus'. The affliction from too much TV while sitting home ill with his yearly sinus infection AND irregularity issues. He did have the opportunity to give his opinion about other important topics, including the obligatory gay marriage proposal. Glenn feels black America might resent the gay community if this issue costs the President's chance at reelection.

The somewhat listless, so-called guest did a show on Monday, then posted it late, then forgot what he talked about. You be the judge.

4.27.12

Good show! Yes, I'll say that right from the start! Our Pharmacy Friend stopped by to talk about a special drug disposal day on Coffeen St. tomorrow. Glenn offered his own slant on things, and the second half of the show included good calls too. Have a great weekend!

MP3 File

Friday, April 6, 2012

4.6.12

Yea, some days you shouldn't even do a show, but Glenn did one anyway. Listless and topicless, our so-called host had issues making up issues. Nothing catastrophic, just a lazy Friday afternoon show on the last day of Spring Break in Myrtle Beach. Have a great Easter!

MP3 File

4.5.12

For Spring Break, Glenn had fun with limited callers, while doing his show 'solo' today. Good stuff, despite the time of year, plus some of Glenn's famous observations.

Friday, March 30, 2012

3.30.12

On the last Friday of the month, Glenn had a safe but fun time talking about the new 'World Tax', some fun. The 'Gambler' is mythed by the Denver Airport, Double D wants to start an old commercial contest, and 'East Main' has another dumb request. Then 'Middle Class' returns for an incredible outburst towards the end of today's show.

MP3 File

Thursday, March 29, 2012

When city residents need to watch their neighbor's pet attack their dogs, and themselves, it sounds like the number 1 story, right? Well, to the paper it was, but as Mayor Graham observed, our local 'power-house' TV station decided if they weren't there first, why report it now. Wow! That's what our so-called host exclaimed as he made his own personal observations from start to finish today.

MP3 File

3.21.12

Financial hour with Brian Exford went well today. It first began with some sports talk, and then evolved into a good conversation about the importance of planning your future. No, not like an info-mercial, instead some 'frank' talk about taking the time to put money away. Of course, other 'stuff' too, in between all this.
