4.30.7

Glenn has a new backyard plan, a new fireplace, a new patio and yes a Gazeebo! Wow, from brown grass and weeds to the Hong Kong Gardens! Glenn spoke at length with his brother-in-law Steve about how the backyard addtion came to be in the first place. Then, it was the Lewis Black sighting at this past weekend's 'Taste of the Town'. Black enjoyed some food and entertainment without being noticed. Glenn even admitted he knew very little of the guy, but he seemed to be enjoying himself before his performance at Clarkson University that night. John Tesh is now part of Community Broadcasters on Magic 103.1fm. Glenn and Victor had fun with that. See you tomorrow!

4.27.7

Go-carting news from Beau, a local singer on stage with the Billy Joel 'wannabee' and Jim Leven in the studio today. A very lively Friday edition of the 'Live at Five Show'. Good story too from the 'Duff' who cant' deal with bad umpiring at his daughters' soft ball game. A cowpie event is coming according to Linda Miles and 'Crazy Ray' might actually be crazy, just as long as he doesn't work at a Wal-Mart. Have a great weekend!

4.26.7

The somewhat subdued Glenn did his solo act today with a good story about his wife's grass problems. Good story about a guy who knows nothing about growing things. Yet, the community stepped up with some ideas throughout the show, including bringing down a 4,000 pound container of manuer (spelling?) to his house. Oh, kudos to Celine Dione and the Elvis Duo on 'Idol' last night. See you on Friday!

4.25.7

It's a talk show, it's the gossip hour, and yes, it's the place to talk about nothing at all. Good thing too, because Jim Leven stopped in today offering a little bit of nothing as well. Don't fret though, today's show included a good Al Sharpton impersonation as well as some other taboo references.

4.24.7

Today's show is the first show to be posted on the new Blog on the same day. Thought I would share that with you, anyway, solid show throughout today. Topics hinged on school elections, board of elections, conservative radio and oh yes, 'Dan the Dem' had a heck of a time getting the studio cam to show up on his computer. See you tomorrow, tell a friend, there's a new web address for the 'Live at Five' blog.

4.23.7

Hello from Glenn:

Are we back yet? Don't know, you tell me. Anyway, new blogger, new look! Will add more shows from last week and more new features. Thanks for your patience!

Glenn Curry

Today's show:
Glenn was a whirlwind today with a lively look at the Sopranos, the Yankees, Gun control and yes...Crazy Ray playing the first lady. Hope you like the new look!

4.20.7

Note: The following show was recorded Friday, April 20th and posted Tuesday April 24th on the new Blog.

A great Friday edition to an awful week of events. Listen and find out why.

4.19.4

Note: The following was recorded Thursday, April 19th and posted Tuesday, April 24th on the new Blog.

More about this week's terrible mass murder. Good show too, sorry it's late, but it took time to set up a new Blog...hope you like the pics!

4.18.7

Note: The following show was recorded Wednesday, April 18th, posted on Tuesday, April 24th on the new Blog.

How can you step away from Monday's massacre? Especially when the story doesn't get better. Of course, Glenn offered some concerns regarding the possible opposite effects that can come from this. Wait, what does Gilligan mean when he says "Satan rules"? Plus, callers are still correcting Dan the Dem about his VP trivia. Sorry for getting these posts on late, they changed my blogger location (they being Hipcast.com).

4.17.7

Note: The following show was recorded Tuesday, 4.17.7 and was posted on Tuesday, April 24th on the new Blog.

The Virginia Tech incident was on everyone's mind today, so Glenn allowed callers to chime in on the subject. For the first part of today's show, 'Billy Ballistic' gave his own opinion on the ordeal. Yet, Billy's inability to stay in one place got annoying. Then, it was 'Dan the Dem' with some erroneous questions about Hubert Humphrey in '63. Oh! 'Otis' wants to be on the air, so Glenn gave him an opportunity for his own 'air-check'. See you Wednesday!

4.16.7

NOTE: The following was recorded Monday, April 16th. Posted Tuesday, April 24th on the new Blog.

The massacre at Virginia Tech was the number one story today. Glenn offered his own 'social' stance on this and other headlines. Will this story last longer than a bias story or a famous death? Whatever the outcome, a story like this almost becomes too usual. Lousy weather too today, but a good 'society' edition of the 'Live of Five Show'.
