What?!! Disembowled and castrated? That's what happened in Massena today, and what's even more amazing the victim is alive! That story and the incredible pile up on Rt. 81 yesterday made up the majority of 'topics' today. However, Glenn is interested in starting an award ceremony for the top callers in town. Nominations for the most talkative, interuptous and oh yes, the all about me award are under consideration. See you all tomorrow!

It's another 'windy' day here in the north country, not just in the studio mind you, but all over the region. As a result, Glenn spent some time discussing bad weather driving. This led to a conversation with the 'Duff' about critical intersections with blind obstructions. Then it was talk about the 'Lucy Show' with red head and annoying icon, Lucille Ball. More political talk with Jim Leven plus a look at hot women in 60's sitcoms.

Is 44 the age of optimum depression? That was the age-old question today as Glenn read an article from NJ. Other than that, it was little old Glenn sitting alone in the studio until Jim Leven called in from his own office. This extended conversation covered just about nothing, but was entertaining none-the-less. Good stuff, see you all tomorrow.

It's a Monday, and Glenn didn't have a 'juicy' story to start things off with. But that's ok, something usually pops up and today it did. Who and what do you ask? Mayor Jeff Graham that's who. He came in at the end to ask Glenn if he can do his 'Hotline' show this Friday. So, that and several political calls and Glenn's story about the girl he didn't recognize at the Paddock Pub round off today's show!

What's happening around town? What's the big story? Don't really know, but Glenn had angles on as much as he could chat about today including the local car dealership story, the State Senate race and the drive thru at Wendys. Oh, employee Pete Souch came in to be part of the show today too.

Do you love Chocolate? Well if you do, then you MUST listen to today's show. Why? Well, because the owners of our newest sponsor 'The Chocolate Cottage' came in to talk about their Coffeen St. location and to give away some chocolate to listeners. At first, owner Jim Leven was speaking to the girls in his office, so Glenn had some 'fun' with that. Enjoy!

We took a second look at the tragic loss of Hollywood star Heath Ledger, then it was off to the races on SG and his dream, but Glenn seems to think council is just not interested. Then, it was an examination of a radio spot with what sounds like Glenn's former boss Dave Mance. Glenn rallied behind his latest creation at least 6 or 7 times throughout today's show. Listen and enjoy!

On a snowy North Country day, Glenn simply opened today's show with the shocking news of the death 'Brokeback Mountain' star Heath Ledger. Just like the Owen Wilson story months ago, Glenn and others tried to understand why someone with so much would throw it all away. Other than that, it was business as usual, plus a visit from Jim Leven who just got back from LA.

Football, snowy weather, the Death Wish saga with 'Oz' and other non essential talk made up part of today's show. 'Oz' came in to share his knowledge of the 'Death Wish' movies too. See you all tomorrow.

Glenn was busy at 5pm, thus the show didn't even get started until 5:20, plus there was no intro either. However, SG and his lady friend Ashley were already in the studio when our host arrived. So, for 40 minutes or so, it was senseless questions to our in-studio guests. Listen to our entertaining show.

Hey now, our friend 'SG' has a new friend, Ashley who called the show today. Glenn, in his own unique way, had some quality questions for her, and later spoke with 'SG' later in the show. Other than that, it was 'Dan the Dem' complaining about Glenn's questions to the new caller, but Glenn put all that to rest. Some political chatter again, and Glenn is excited about the old movies he and his friends produced in the 70s and 80s. They're currently posted on YouTube.com under GREJ Films. Search and enjoy.

Listen to today's 'Tuesday' version of the 'Live at Five Show' More conversation, more stuff to laugh at and yes, more talk about a 'Dog Park' too. Oh, Glenn saw the first 'Death Wish' last night and spoke about that and other movie 'stuff'. See you tomorrow.

Hey look, it's back to being a normal 'Live at Five Show'. That's because Glenn had no political guest today, but did thank both candidates, Steve Weed and Newzjunky for all their efforts and support during last week's back to back coverage. Today, it was Glenn's look at the weekend's football games with Jim Leven, then after the phones were actually cooperating, Glenn fielded calls about the future of the Watertown airport. Caller Kevin Oliver (a commercial pilot) had some great ideas. See you tomorrow!

If there's one candidate to talk to, there's another candidate to speak with as well. Today, it was time to speak with Assemblyman Darryl Aubertine, candidate for State Senate. Darryl first chatted with Glenn about the special election then answered questions from many callers. This makes two days in a row Glenn had the chance to speak with the most talked about candidates Northern NY candidates in quite sometime. Also, both shows have been videotaped too and can be seen at SteveWeedProductions.com

Listen to today's special edition with Assemblyman Will Barclay, candidate for State Senate. Glenn was very grateful that Mr. Barclay was able to discuss his campaign goal and his initiatives. Glenn had some solid questions, as well as some questions regarding the Barclay's Salmon River issues. From state-wide issues to his favorite rock band (The Who), today's show gives voters an inside look beyond the normal 'stuff' you see and hear in a political campaign.

Hillary wins, Hillary wins! Plus, Glenn wins $5 from his bet with the 'Duff' too. Our host believes it was the Senators' teary-eyed moment that won everyone over in the end. One statement, action, rumor or photograph can make or break a candidates' chance. Her emotional response on Monday in a New Hampshire restaurant will go down as an historic turning-point in the campaign. Shallow? Yes, but that's America.

It's not the heat, it's the time of year that's making our host so tired. But after a couple of minutes into the show, things got back to normal. Seems the mini Iowa we're having here is fueling the show. Many calls again about the two candidates and their continuing rhetoric. Oh, more about teachers that have their way with teenage students too.

Well look at this, our 'so-called host' actually attended a political rally on Saturday. But even before he could get into that story, it was the less important 'stuff' that was talked about first. Now our version of the Iowa Caucus begins, let the words fly and may the babies be kissed in front of the cameras!

What?!! Both State Senate candidates will be on the 'Live at Five' show next week?!! Yep, at least as of today they are, but till it happens, it's Glenn in the studio ranting and raving about issues he doesn't even know! Listen to how Glenn got the news from both parties, and listen to Glenn's worst PSA spots on TV. Have a great weekend!

Wow, it's tough typing in '08, but that's where we are. Good stimulating thoughts from Glenn regarding Darryl Aubertine and his republican opponent. Then, after a call from 'Crazy Ray', the show once again went to the 'dogs'. Why? Well, after Ray saw a reality series showing dog owners arguing with each other at a 'Dog Park', the show went in that direction. Good way to start the year!
